What is Thai Massage?
Traditional Thai massage is an ancient Thai massage technique that is part of traditional Thai medicine, which has spread to the West in recent decades. It uses various stretching and compression techniques with which it restores the energy channels (meridians) through which our vital energy circulates.
It is usually practiced on a mattress on the floor and no type of oil is used. The person receiving the massage is dressed in loose, comfortable clothing.
Who can practice Thai massage?
Anyone can receive Thai massage. There are contraindications for people with blood pressure problems, thrombosis, varicose veins or other types of injuries that must be informed to the professional to adapt the massage or postpone it, as required by the person.
Thai massage, as well as any other massage technique, can in no way replace or substitute medical treatment.
What to consider before a massage?
It is recommended to attend the massage on an empty stomach (approximately an hour and a half after the last meal). The movements and manipulations of the massage could cause discomfort in the case of a full stomach.
In case of having any particular ailment it is essential to inform it in advance.
For the greatest comfort of the person, it is essential to wear comfortable and loose clothing.
What is needed to receive a massage at home?
The first thing is to make an appointment.
There must be a clean space, free of objects with approximate dimensions of 2.50m x 3m, for the massage mattress.
A comfortable space should be sought, without noise or other disturbances that may interfere during the massage.
Is the Thai massage an erotic massage?
Thai massage is often confused with an erotic massage, but this is not the case. Strictly speaking Thai massage has medicinal purposes related to the restoration of the body´s natural balance.
The massage that I offer by this means as well as in other social networks, is not an erotic massage.
Cancellation policy
The massage session is confirmed at the time of making the bank transfer, for the total amount agreed for the massage session.
If canceled more than 48 hours before appointment time, no charges are incurred and rescheduling is permitted.
If canceled less than 48 hours before appointment time, the full amount must be paid, due to short notice.
